Le suffragette erano tutte quelle donne che lottavano, tra la fine dell’800 e l’inizio del ‘900, per l’estensione del suffragio, ossia del diritto di voto alle donne.Il termine venne coniato in Gran Bretagna e inizialmente aveva una significato negativo.
