Gustav Mahler (pronunciació en alemany: /ˌg̊ʊstaf o ˌg̊ʊstɑf ˈmɑːlɐ/ [2]) ( Kaliště, 7 de juliol de 1860 – Viena, 18 de maig de 1911) fou un compositor, director d'orquestra i pianista austro - bohemi, considerat un dels compositors més importants del postromanticisme i un dels principals directors de la seva generació.
