Add flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar to the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment.
Preheat oven to 200°C / 392℉ (180°C / 356℉ fan setting). Whip egg, sugar and vanilla sugar until it forms a fluffy “egg nog”. Sift flour, baking powder and potato starch into the egg mixture. Gently fold the ingredients with a spatula. Add lemon juice and fold gently.
