Since 1896, when a group of students created a bicycle club, Barnard women have been involved in some type of sport. Today the College’s student-athletes compete in 16 sports, including archery, basketball, cross-country, tennis, track and field, and volleyball. See All 15.
Majors & Minors. Barnard offers bachelor’s degrees in more than 50 fields. You can also double major, design your own major, or pursue a special degree program in cooperation with Columbia University, Juilliard, Manhattan School of Music, or the Jewish Theological Seminary. Transcripts. We accept official high school and college transcripts through the following methods: Electronic document delivery services (Parchment, National Student Clearinghouse, Naviance, etc.). If a student is admitted and plans to enroll, she must submit official scores. It is the student’s responsibility to direct the College Board or ACT Program to send official test scores to the Office of Admissions. The SAT tests code number for Barnard is 2038.
