Nick Lowe begann seine Karriere 1967 in der englischen Pub-Rock-Szene.Er war Mitglied der Band Brinsley Schwarz, die sich 1975 auflöste.Von 1976 bis 1981 spielte er zusammen mit Dave Edmunds in der Gruppe Rockpile.. Part 2 covers his renowned exploits with Dave Edmunds and cahorts in Rockpile, which coincided with his move to manager Jake Riviera's Radar Label (Columbia in the States).
