Time Fades Away is a 1973 live album by Canadian-American musician Neil Young.Consisting of previously unreleased material, it was recorded with the Stray Gators on the support tour following 1972's highly successful album Harvest.Due to Young's dissatisfaction with the tour, it was omitted from his catalogue and not released on compact disc until 2017.

The Stray Gators - the band on Neil's classic album Harvest - consisted of Ben Keith on pedal steel and vocals, Jack Nitzsche on keyboards, Tim Drummond on bass and drummer Kenny Buttrey. Tuscaloosa follows the archival live albums Songs for Judy and Roxy: Tonight's the Night, both released last year, and the "lost" studio record Hitchhiker, released in 2017.

Both boots suffer the same relative flaw, however – they’re audience tapes and, as a result, the sonics are a bit flat. That said, they’re actually above average as far as audience tapes go and more than listenable.
