Cuando Enid Blyton visitó Corfe por primera vez, quedó fascinada. Tanto es así que dejó escritas sus impresiones en una revista de la época. Enid viajaba desde una localidad cercana a Corfe, concretamente Swanage, y cuando vio asomar el espectacular perfil del castillo sobre la verde colina en la que éste se alza, quedó maravillada.
Enid Blyton wrote a further twenty novels in the series, with one publishing every year until 1963. She also wrote eight short stories about Julian, Dick, Anne, George and Timmy. We currently publish the full series in two editions: one with the original covers and interior artwork by Eileen Soper and one with new covers illustrated in 2017 by Pippa Curnick (with no interior artwork).
Enid Mary Blyton (August 11, 1897 - November 28, 1968) was a popular and prolific British author of children's books. Blyton is noted for numerous series of books based on recurring characters and designed for different age groups. She produced more than 800 books that have enjoyed popular success in many parts of the world and have sold over 400 million copies.
