Vince Barnett was an American actor, writer, and musician who was active in the entertainment industry from the 1920s to the 1950s. He was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on July 4, 1902. Barnett began his career as a vaudeville performer, appearing in various stage productions and films.

A consummate screen-stealer, Barnett's face is so cartoonish that he seemed born to be a second banana. But instead he was born in Pittsburgh in 1902, into a show-business family of sorts.
