This used to run all the time on HBO when I was in preschool, kindergarten. A few us would run around and play Zorro. Nothing about the gay blade subtitle was funny to me then, but I remember adults would smirk when I said the gay blade when I was like 4 or 5, and that just flew by me. I don't think I could quite discern how much of it was comedy.
