Jo Elizabeth Stafford (Coalinga, 12 november 1917 – Los Angeles, 16 juli 2008) was een Amerikaans pop- en jazzzangeres.Haar carrière begon in de jaren dertig en liep door tot in het begin van de jaren zestig. Stafford wilde aanvankelijk operazangeres worden en studeerde ook piano, maar door de Grote Depressie gaf zij dit in 1929 op en sloot zich direct bij haar zusters Christine en Pauline aan.

Jo Elizabeth Stafford was an American traditional pop singer, whose career spanned five decades from the late 1930s to the early 1980s. Admired for the purity of her voice, she originally underwent classical training to become an opera singer before following a career in popular music, and by 1955 had achieved more worldwide record sales than any other female artist.
