Tom Dawes (1943-2007) was a musician and TV commercial jingle writer who co-founded the band The Cyrkle with Don Dannemann. He also composed the score for the sexploitation film The Minx and wrote the off-Broadway musical Talk of the Town.
Tom Dawes was a member of the Cyrkle, a pop band that had a hit with "Red Rubber Ball" in 1966. He also wrote many successful advertising jingles, such as "Plop, Plop, Fizz, Fizz" for Alka-Seltzer.
