Hans Smits is een Nederlands bestuurder en topambtenaar. Smits studeerde civiele techniek aan de TH Delft en bedrijfskunde aan de Erasmus Universiteit. Hij was tot 2014 president-directeur van het Havenbedrijf Rotterdam.

11 de nov. de 2019 · The Supervisory Board of Erasmus University Rotterdam has appointed Hans Smits as interim president of the Executive Board. On 1 December 2019, Smits will be taking over from Kristel Baele, who will step down after completing her first term of four years.

13 de nov. de 2019 · The Supervisory Board of Erasmus University Rotterdam has appointed Hans Smits as interim president of the Executive Board. He will be taking over from Kristel Baele on 1 December 2019. Mr Smits has been appointed for a term of seven months, until the end of June 2020.
