At Brown, we invite you to develop your own personalized course of study. You’ll sample rigorous courses in a wide range of subjects before immersing yourself in one of 80+ academic concentrations (what you might call a major) for in-depth, focused study.
Design Your Education. Complete Your Degree. Earning a Single Degree with more than one Concentration | 4 Years. Approximately 20 percent of Brown students complete their Baccalaureate degrees with more than one concentration within the standard eight semesters of full-time study.
Bachelor of Arts. The A.B. degree enables students to combine a rigorous and interdisciplinary foundation in engineering with the diverse opportunities offered by Brown's liberal arts curriculum. With only ten required courses, it provides the most flexibility.
