Eric Singer (born Eric Doyle Mensinger; May 12, 1958) is an American drummer. Associated with the hard rock band Kiss on and off from 1991 until the band's retirement in 2023, he has also performed with artists such as Black Sabbath, Alice Cooper, Lita Ford, Badlands, Brian May and Gary Moore as well as his own band ESP.

Having the opportunity to speak with my favorite drummer for an extended period of time was an absolute joy, and I hope you enjoy the conversation as much as I did.
Eric Singer is the long-time current drummer for the band Kiss. He got the gig after being chosen to play drums for Paul Stanley’s solo band in 1991. When then Kiss drummer Eric Carr came down with a terminal illness, Singer was brought in as his replacement.
Eric Doyle Mensinger (born May 12, 1958 in Cleveland, Ohio), better known as Eric Singer, is a Hard Rock and Heavy Metal drummer for the rock band KISS and singer Alice Cooper. In recent years, he has played the Catman character in KISS, though he didn't when he first joined KISS.
