The band has released 12 albums. Its current members include Anthony Nichols, Jim Koury, Darren Lourie, Paul Souza, and Stu Dowie. They at one time featured Godsmack frontman Sully Erna on drums, who appeared on the Unfinished Business album. The band went on hiatus in January 2021.

Nichols recruited some of the best musicians in New England to form the original MELIAH RAGE, and the current lineup continues that tradition. Original members Nichols and Jim Koury, both on guitar, and drummer Stu Dowie have been joined by lead singer Paul Souza and bass player Darren Lourie.
The band was made up of singer Mike Munro (who came out of retirement) and drummer Stu Dowie, both of Meliah Rage, guitarists Kevin Curran and Mike Mooney of Steel Assassin and Dave Liolios of the Whiskey Saints, which had Curran in it, on bass.

Singer Mike Munro and drummer Stu Dowie were in Kingdom Of Tyrants as of 2021. Meliah Rage refers to the Meliah Native American tribe’s habit of taking narcotics prior to battle. Koury was previously in a band called Meliah Craze.
In need of a drummer, longtime friend Tony Nichols of Meliah Rage suggested using Stu Dowie. As Meliah Rage was on hiatus at the time, Stu accepted. Then came the task of finding a singer.
