George Patrick John Rushworth Jellicoe, segundo conde de Jellicoe, barón Jellicoe de Southampton, KBE, DSO, MC, PC, FRS, FRGS, FRSGS (4 de abril de 1918 -22 de febrero de 2007), fue un político, diplomático y hombre de negocios británico.
He was educated at Winchester and Trinity College, Cambridge succeeding his father as 2nd Earl Jellicoe in 1935, at the age of 17. He chose not to follow his celebrated father into the navy, but instead had a very distinguished military career during the Second World War.
Had it not been for Lorna Almonds Windmill’s excellent biography, George Jellicoe – one of Britain’s most remarkable surviving heroes of the Second World War – might well have remained forgotten.
