Arégonde, Aregund, Aregunda o Arnegonda (en francés: Arnegonde de Worms; Worms, c. 515-570) [1] fue la quinta esposa de Clotario I y madre de Chilperico I de Neustria. Hermana de Ingonda [ 1 ] o Irgund, una de las otras esposas de Clotario.
La reina Arnegonda es así, uno de los pocos personajes medievales de los que tenemos documentación histórica a través de la fuentes, restos físicos y objetos.

Aregund, Aregunda, Arnegund, Aregonda, or Arnegonda (c. 515/520-580) was a Frankish queen. She is the earliest known queen of Francia. Aregund was the wife of Clotaire I (also known as Clothar) king of the Franks, and the mother of Chilperic I of Neustria.

Eran descendientes de Meroveo, un jefe militar franco. Este era el fundador de la dinastía y también le dio su nombre.
Biografía. Hijo de Clotario I y Arnegonda. En 561, muere su padre Clotario I, rey de los francos, que había dividido el reino entre sus cuatro hijos. Chilperico se apodera del tesoro de Soissons y ocupa París.
