In this film alone, she takes on three different personas: herself, the celebrated actress; the Chignon d’Or, a lower class gigolette for a role she was researching; a parigote as she escapes the unsavory characters her research had her associate with (giving her a chance to bare the legs she had insured for 500,000 francs).
