Innis College is one of the constituent colleges of the University of Toronto. It is one of the University of Toronto's smallest colleges in terms of size and the second smallest college in terms of population with approximately 2000 registered students. [1]
Innis College at U of T is a small, community oriented, and diverse college that houses the Cinema Studies Institute, and the Urban Studies, and Writing & Rhetoric programs.
Established in 1964, Innis College was named after renowned University of Toronto professor, the late Harold Adams Innis. Despite being one of U of T ’s youngest colleges, Innis has a rich and vibrant history.
Innis College. Population: 2,200. History: Founded in 1964, Innis is one of the newer colleges. The only college to be named after a professor at the University of Toronto, political economist Harold Innis, Innis College has had three different homes on campus.
