The Folk Implosion is an American band founded in the early 1990s by Lou Barlow and John Davis. It was initially a side-project started by Barlow to explore different territory than that which was being canvassed with his primary band at the time, Sebadoh.
They surprised fans when they reunited in 2021 and self-released the Feel It If You Feel It EP in 2022. The Folk Implosion have now begun work on their first new album in over 23 years.

The Folk Implosion. . The Folk Implosion is a duo - Lou Barlow and John Davis. The original run was from 1993 - 2000. Take A Look Inside, the Kids Soundtrack, Dare to Be Surprised, and One Part Lullaby were the albums, with stray singles along the way. They reunited in 2021, released a single in the spring of 2022, and are working on a full length album.
