James Gillespie's High School (Scottish Gaelic: Àrd-sgoil Sheumais Ghilleasbuig) is a state-funded secondary school in Marchmont, Edinburgh, Scotland. It is a comprehensive high school, educating pupils between the ages of 11 and 18, situated at the centre of Edinburgh.

22 de jun. de 2022 · James Gillespie's High School had a disappointing result this year, dropping 11 places and losing six per cent off their number of pupils leaving with five Highers. In 2020, they had 68 per cent, that dropped to 62 in 2021.
We are situated in the centre of Edinburgh and have been a fully comprehensive, non-denominational high school since 1973. We deliver courses at every level up to Advanced Higher and pride ourselves in supporting all learners to achieve at the highest level possible.
