Mae Questel ( Bronx, 13 de septiembre de 1908- Nueva York, 4 de enero de 1998) fue una actriz estadounidense . Biografía. Inicios. Mae nació en Nueva York, más concretamente en el Bronx. A los diecisiete años, y en contra de su familia, ganó un concurso de imitadoras de Helen Kane en el RKO Fordham Theater del Bronx.
Mae Questel (/ ˈ m eɪ ˌ k w ɛ ˈ s t ɛ l /; born Mae Kwestel; September 13, 1908 – January 4, 1998) was an American actress. She was best known for providing the voices for the animated characters Betty Boop (from 1931), Olive Oyl (from 1933) and numerous others.
Mae Questel. Actress: National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation. Her Orthodox Jewish family was totally averse to her having an entertainment career. Her parents and grandparents forced her to leave the Theatre Guild school (New York) while still a teenager and had their wills drawn up accordingly so as to discourage this career choice.
