James Stephen Ringo [1] (November 21, 1931 – November 19, 2007) was an American professional football player and coach in the National Football League (NFL). He played 15 years as a center for the Green Bay Packers and the Philadelphia Eagles, earning 10 Pro Bowl selections.
Ringo played 11 years with the Packers and four more with the Philadelphia Eagles. He made All-League seven times and played in 10 Pro Bowls. Never weighing more than 235 pounds, he utilized his speed and football intelligence to dominate his opponents.
