Great Grandmaster Chu Shong Tin (Sigung Chu) was a closed door student of the legendary Yip Man who took Wing Chun Kung Fu to Hong Kong in 1949. As a child in mainland China, Sigung Chu Shong Tin learned Tai Chi from his father for a few months but did not become seriously interested in martial arts until the age of 17, when he met Yip Man.
