Marist College overlooks the Hudson River in Poughkeepsie, New York. Students at Marist can choose from more than 40 undergraduate majors and more than a dozen master's degrees.
Marist College is a private university in Poughkeepsie, New York. Founded in 1905, Marist was formed by the Marist Brothers, a Catholic religious institute, to prepare brothers for their vocations as educators.
Marist educates more than 5,000 traditional-age undergraduate students and 1,400 adult and graduate students in 47 undergraduate majors and numerous graduate programs, including fully online MBA, MPA, MS, and MA degrees, and also Doctor of Physical Therapy and Physician Assistant programs.
Students get to choose and, not or, when it comes to their education at Marist. They can easily combine majors, minors, and concentrations to fit their passions through a distinct blend of liberal arts and professional education. Our faculty are teachers, scholars, artists, and practitioners.
