The film is set in the backdrop of the dried-up Aral Sea and addresses the impact of the ecological catastrophe on the fate of the people in that region.

A sand storm dried the sea. A village is slowly dying day by day. Only Marat, the sailor, decides to fight destiny dragging his ship, now a rusty wreck, through the desert to find the sea and a meaning.
