Janasheen (transl. Heir) is a 2003 Indian Hindi-language romantic action thriller film co-written, edited, produced and directed by Feroz Khan who stars along with his son, Fardeen Khan, and Celina Jaitly. It was partly shot in Afghanistan.
Lucky Kapoor lives in Australia and has no interest in taking over his father’s business in India. Saba Karim Khan has a great interest in the property, but Mr. Kapoor has no interest in selling the business to Khan. So Khan has Mr. Kapoor killed, making it look like an accident.
Janasheen is a classic revenge drama that has all the elements of a good Bollywood masala movie- high-speed car chases, glamourous song and dance sequences, and over-the-top action scenes. Feroz Khan's direction is as stylish and flamboyant as his on-screen persona.
