Miguel y Aurelio son dos escritores cinematográficos que deciden encerrarse en un monasterio aragonés para acabar el guión de una película. Deambulando por los parajes vecinos, conocen a una joven panadera muy atractiva, con la que mantienen una relación amorosa y a la que convierten, sin darse cuenta, en la protagonista de la película.
Al otro lado del túnel. Dos guionistas, Miguel y Aurelio, pasan por una crisis creativa. La productora los envía a un monasterio- hotel del Pirineo aragonés para ver si logran la inspiración que les permita terminar el guión de un relato romántico que transcurre en Escocia, en el siglo XIX.
