Ana Cumpănaș or Anna Sage, nicknamed Woman in Red (1889 – April 25, 1947), was a Romanian prostitute and brothel owner in the American cities of Chicago and Gary, Indiana. She is best known for having assisted the Federal Bureau of Investigation in tracking down gangster John Dillinger.

During this time, Dillinger’s girlfriend Polly Hamilton was living in the apartment of a woman going by the name Ana Sage. Sage’s real name was Ana Cumpănaș.

Anna Sage, with her boyfriend, Martin Zarkovich, made a deal on the stifling night of July 20, 1934. She would be paid for Dillinger's betrayal, in cash and with the promise that some effort would be made to stop her deportation back to Romania.
Polly Hamilton was 26 years old when she met John Dillinger at a Chicago nightclub in early June 1934. A former employee of Anna Sage, Hamilton was working as a waitress and prostitute.
