Nicholas II, Prince Esterházy (Hungarian: Esterházy II. Miklós, German: Nikolaus II Esterházy; 12 December 1765 – 24 November 1833) was a Hungarian prince. He served the Austrian Empire and was a member of the famous Esterházy family.
The family librarian Joseph Altenkopf stole a large number of prints from the collection in 1855, among these stolen was probably a Leonardo drawing (1856,0621.1) sold to the BM by Cavalcasele, The Esterházy family was later forced to sell the collections.
