Screens are used to protect pumps and other infrastructure from debris floating downstream. The debris that build up against the screen can lead to blinding. Our weedscreen cleaners ensure the screens are clear meaning water that flow freely through.
These fully automatic screen cleaners are applied in pumping stations, sewage treatment plants, coarse refuse installations, barrages and dams, inlets to power and desalination plants. The Landy weedscreen cleaner is suitable for new and existing intakes.
Landustrie supplied a total of nine (9) weedscreen cleaners – type R71 – for several Sewage Pumping Stations of the Bogota Water Authority in Colombia. The Pumping Stations are located at Fontibon, Gibraltar, La Isla, Salitre, San Benito and Villa Gladis.

5 de may. de 2021 · Two screen cleaner units have been installed at the Bejaoua pumping station and the other 3 screen cleaner units at different locations along the canal at the regulating valves. The Bejaoua Pumping Station is located in the 120 km long Medjerda-Cap Bon canal, Tunesia (north-east).
