Alex Norton is a Scottish actor. He is known for his roles as DCI Matt Burke in the STV detective drama series Taggart, Eric Baird in BBC Two sitcom Two Doors Down, DCS Wallace in Extremely Dangerous, Gerard Findlay in Waterloo Road and Eddie in the Renford Rejects.
Alex Norton was born on 27 January 1950 in Glasgow, Scotland, UK. He is an actor and writer, known for The Count of Monte Cristo (2002), Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest (2006) and Braveheart (1995). He has been married to Sally Kinghorn since 17 December 2001. They have three children.
