The story revolves around Colin, a human trapped in a mysterious laboratory not being able to remember how he got there, with the objective to escape the lab persevering through all the threats that await him during his escape.
The player takes the role of Colin, a human who wakes up to find himself deep within the mazelike confines of a mysterious laboratory, having no memory of how he ended up there. With the end goal of escaping the lab, the player must persevere through a plethora of threats roaming throughout the facility.
Human (Colin / Lin) es el único protagonista jugable de Changed. Tiene cabello castaño, ojos azules, piel blanca y solo se lo ve usando un par de pantalones cortos en todo el juego. En el verdadero final, se convierte en una criatura lobo / zorro humanoide blanca de ojos azules para poder deshacerse del virus.
Colin will fight to avenge Puro, but he will be knocked out and experimented on by the scientist. If Puro is shown enough love, both he and K will be found knocked out (though Colin will initially believe they're both dead), though Puro soon wakes up and tells him that he's on his tail.
In the standard edition of Changed, there are five possible endings, two of which are considered "bad endings", and three of which are "true endings". The bad endings occur when Colin does not show enough appreciation for Puro.
