Biografía. Comenzó su carrera deportiva como boxeador, 5 y progresó en el deporte olímpico del levantamiento de pesas y el culturismo después de ganar el título de Mister Olympia en 1976 y en 1981 tras la retirada de Arnold Schwarzenegger, que con su retirada dejó que volviese a ganarlo.
Francesco Maria Columbu (August 7, 1941 – August 30, 2019) was an Italian-American bodybuilder, powerlifter, actor, author, producer, and a licensed chiropractor. Originally a boxer, Columbu won the Mr. Olympia in 1976 and 1981, and competed in the inaugural edition of the World's Strongest Man in 1977, where he placed fifth. [4]
