Big Bird is a Muppet character designed by Jim Henson and built by Kermit Love for the children's television show Sesame Street. An eight-foot-two-inch-tall (249 cm) bright yellow anthropomorphic bird, he can roller skate, ice skate, dance, swim, sing, write poetry, draw, and ride a unicycle.

Big Bird (también conocido como "Paco Pico" en España) es un personaje principal perteneciente a Sesame Street, en su versión original norteamericana. Interpretado por Caroll Spinney desde 1969 hasta 2015, y desde entonces por Matt Vogel, es un pájaro antropomórfico, de color amarillo brillante de 249 cm de altura.
Sesame Street Season 29 (1993-2003) Big Bird is now somewhat more vibrant in color, compared to preceding puppets. His head takes a slightly different shape and his forehead highlights are somewhat darker.
