The Syrian Army (SyA or SA), officially the Syrian Arab Army (SyAA or SAA) (Arabic: الجيش العربي السوري, romanized: al-Jayš al-ʿArabī as-Sūrī), is the land force branch of the Syrian Armed Forces.
