General Thaddeus E. " Thunderbolt " Ross (also known as the Red Hulk) is a fictional character who appears in comic books published by Marvel Comics featuring the Hulk. Ross is a United States military officer, the father of Betty Ross, and the ex-father-in-law of both Glenn Talbot and Bruce Banner.
Thaddeus E. "Thunderbolt" Ross is the former Lieutenant General of the United States Army who had served as Secretary of State, originally nominated by Matthew Ellis. During his career, he was put in charge of the Bio-Tech Force Enhancement Project, with Ross' goal being to recreate the Super Soldier Serum.
