Rivet City is a settlement located inside a decaying aircraft carrier in Washington, D.C., in Fallout 3. It is the largest settlement in the Capital Wasteland, with a standing police force, hydroponic gardens, and a research center.

You don’t need to immediately make your way to the city, as the main quest-line will take you there eventually. However, if you are up for the adventure, the easiest way to locate Rivet City is to start by finding Megaton.
