22 de jul. de 2019 · My experience has been that if I check "Do this for all conflicts" and then click "Don't copy" Windows Explorer will not copy the file in question (desired behavior), but then it won't copy any subsequent files regardless of whether or not they exist in the target folder (undesirable behavior).
3 de sept. de 2021 · the copy command will identify a duplicate, if the file name and extension are the same regardless of creation or modified date. if you select to skip all duplicates, modified files with the same name as an existing file will be skipped.
26 de dic. de 2021 · there is absurd logic being used in the move files from one folder to another on the same drive creating similar "duplicate files with -copy" suffix. I could not find any solution on any forum for this odd behaviour of copy paste function and any rectification done by Microsoft.
30 de may. de 2018 · 1. copying a file in same folder, windows adds the name with a suffix, " - Copy", without a message. 2. copying a new folder to old folder with cut and paste: duplicate names were automatically added by with a numeric suffix.
