John Francis Hall-Edwards FRSE (19 December 1858 – 15 August 1926) was a British medical doctor and pioneer in the medical use of X-rays in the United Kingdom.
23 de jun. de 2020 · He was president of the British Electrotherapeutic Society in 1906 (the forerunner of the current radiology section of the Royal Society of Medicine, London) and in 1915 was elected vice-president of the Röntgen Society, which in 1928 became the British Institute of Radiology.

The interest in radiography of the pioneer radiologist in Birmingham, Dr John Hall-Edwards (1858-1926)/ stemmed from a deep interest in photography and microphotography. He used X rays and radium in diagnosis and therapy.

X-ray images appeared in the annual exhibition in 1896, both as its own category, and among the lantern slides. Wilson Noble was given a medal for three images, and W. Grant and John Hall-Edwards also submitted x-rays.
