Second Variant Model 2. The second variant of the Model 2 has no rear sight, merely a groove down the top of the slide with a tiny front sight that does not rise above the sides of the groove. This is the most common Walther Model 2 variation, and it lacks the magazine safety.

Sadly we couldn’t find any more detailed information on production numbers and exact time frame. But there seems to be some confusion on the model designations.
11 de abr. de 2012 · I would love to hear anyone with hands on experience in shooting a Remington 550-1 versus the newer 552 in terms of reliability and other performance measure. I would also appreciate any insight in how they stack-up to Marlin 60's.
During the Second World War, Remington manufactured the M1903 (Modified) rifle, a transitional long arm in which stamped parts replaced some that had been milled in the earlier model, while other parts were dispensed with altogether in the interests of reducing production time.

16 de mar. de 2011 · The Remington 550 and its subsequent model, the 550-1, were the predecessors to the 552. The only real difference between the 550, commonly known as a 550A, and the 550-1 that I know of is that the 550 has 2 extractors and the 550-1 has one.
