Existen algunos testimonios, en los que aseguran que si reciben la Smile.jpg, este personaje se te aparecerá, y del miedo, protagonizarás un episodio de epilepsia.
El disquete contenía la imagen smile.jpg (sonríe.jpg), el infame Smile.dog (Sonríe.perro). Han habido otros casos similares… Se dice que al ver esta imagen se pierde la sanidad mental. No existe ninguna copia exacta en el Internet, aunque sí existen algunas parecidas.
