Maria Delgado (voiced by Delaney Jones) is a Chicana girl from Boston, Massachusetts who needs help to do the team cheer for her sister, Josie Delgado (voiced by Theresa Howe).
It stars Oso, a panda bear who is a special agent working for the United Network for Investigating Quite Usual Events (U.N.I.Q.U.E.), an agency dedicated to helping children with everyday tasks such as mailing a letter, riding a bike, or making a sandwich.

"The Girl Who Cheered Me" is the first segment of the twenty-second episode of Special Agent Oso. It premiered on May 16, 2009 alongside "License to Twirl". Oso is being trained to transport a box with a blue moon from his train R.R. Rapide to his helicopter Whirlybird.
