As one piece of evidence that you have funds to support yourself while in the country. Unless you actually have more than $10K, you don't need to be precise.

There is no set requirement for how long you must wait between visits.

In fact this time the immigration procdure was much less thorough investigation than a previous time when I entered USA from Canada by bus long ago (early nineties).
