With more than 800 bright and curious students, Keble is one of the biggest colleges at the University of Oxford. We’ve been around since 1870, and have been challenging the way things are done at Oxford since the beginning.
Keble College ( / ˈkiːbəl /) [3] is one of the constituent colleges of the University of Oxford [4] in England. Its main buildings are on Parks Road, opposite the University Museum and the University Parks.
The first Oxford College of the modern era, it was founded in memory of John Keble (1792-1866), well known for his best-selling Christian verse and a key member of the so-called ‘Oxford’ movement.
Keble College was originally established to extend access to Oxford University, and it remains true to that founding vision. We have students from all backgrounds and every corner of the globe. Keble students join a community where learning is valued and encouraged, but where there’s scope to develop in many other ways too.
