Meine Mütter. Ich bin am 25. November 1942 in Riga, Lettland geboren und als Holger Mischwitzky in der Bundesrepublik Deutschland aufgewachsen. Im Jahre 2000 offenbarte mir meine damals 94-jährigen Mutter, dass ich nicht ihr Sohn bin. Sie hatte mich in Riga während der deutschen Besatzung in einem Kinderheim gefunden. Mehr sagte sie nicht.

Rosa von Praunheim ou, seu nome completo de nascimento, Holger Bernhard Bruno Mischwitzky (Riga, 25 de novembro de 1942), é um escritor e diretor cinematográfico alemão considerado um dos principais diretores de cinema pós-modernistas daquele país. Ele é reconhecido internacionalmente como um dos mais importantes ativistas e cineastas LGBTQ.
