6 de ago. de 2023 · WILLIAM LOUIS BILL FORSYTH William Louis "Bill" Forsyth, of Kapolei, Hawaii, passed away on July 20th, 2023 at age 76 at Queens Medical Center West, Ewa Beach, Hawaii, He was a resident of Kapolei. Bill was born in Manhattan Beach, California on December 2nd, 1946, but called Placerville, California, home, where he graduated from Ponderosa High School with the first graduating class in 1964.
Local Hero is a 1983 Scottish comedy-drama film written and directed by Bill Forsyth and starring Peter Riegert, Peter Capaldi, Denis Lawson, Fulton Mackay and Burt Lancaster.Produced by David Puttnam, the film is about an American oil company representative who is sent to the fictional village of Ferness on the west coast of Scotland to purchase the town and surrounding property for his company.
