Alessandra Mussolini is a member of the European Parliament since 2 November 2022 for "Forza Italia", which is aligned with the European People's Party. Previously, Mussolini was MEP from 20 July 2004 to 28 April 2008 and from 1 June 2014 to 1 July 2019. Mussolini is elected on behalf of Italy.

Alessandra Mussolini was born in 1962. She graduated Cum Laude in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Rome. She is a member of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Rome. She was elected for the first time in 1992 to the Chamber of Deputies of the Italian Parliament and re-elected in 1994, 1996 and 2001.
In 1962, Mussolini married Maria Scicolone, the younger sister of actress Sophia Loren. They had two daughters, Alessandra and her younger sister Elisabetta. Alessandra led a small Italian far-right party often described as neofascist, Alternativa Sociale. Romano Mussolini composed the party's official anthem, "The Pride of Being Italian".
