Dave Edmunds recorded Twangin’ , which yielded a minor hit with John Fogerty ’s “Almost Saturday Night”; he also produced the Stray Cats hits “Rock This Town” and “Stray Cut Strut” as well as their albums The Stray Cats and Rant and Rave .

Baldwin followed in the footsteps of his stepfather, a storefront preacher, and preached from age 14 to age 17; this experience and environment inform much of Baldwin’s work.
Rockpile were a British rock and roll group of the late 1970s and early 1980s, noted for their strong pub rock, rockabilly and power pop influences, and as a foundational influence on new wave.
