La ambientación en Los papeles de Aspern es correcta y adecuada no obstante el interés que provoca está temática va perdiendo fuerza en apenas minutos iniciados el film. La trama denota cierta lentitud en los diálogos incluso en las acciones de los personajes que a veces es torpe y un tanto teatral.

Not in this film, but he is capable. "The Aspern Papers" does offer some nice settings, some nice costumes, and... well. I can picture how this might work on paper in novel form, but this film is empty. The main crutch of the film are papers/letters that might reveal something about a famous poet named Aspern. ...
